Nesting Around the House

We have been very busy doing big and small projects around the house over the last few weeks.  Johnny has worked on a home project every weekend over the past month and he has really gotten a lot accomplished!  I am very proud and thankful for all that he has done.  His abilities never cease to amaze me!  We have completely relocated the guest room to the renovated basement, painted the nursery, Johnny painted a mural in the nursery, organized Avery's already extensive wardrobe, and now my nesting has spread to improvements in our master bedroom.  My nesting has equaled a lot of work for Johnny and a slight drain on our checking account.
I had my 28 week appointment on Friday and everything is progressing normally with the pregnancy.  So far all indicators show that is Avery is within normal size ranges, which is reassuring because we've been certain that our little girl will come into this world at the weight of a 2 month old baby.  If you haven't heard, BIG babies tend to run in our family on both sides...lucky me!

Perhaps it is just the pregnancy hormones, but I wanted to share how fortunate I've been feeling to have such wonderful support from our friends and family.  It is so comforting to know that we will bring a child into this world surrounded by so much love from our family and friends.  We've had help from friends to install the new drop ceiling in the guest room, move furniture around the house, pass along lots of clothes for Avery, and host baby showers for us.  Thanks to all of our great family and friends for all of your love and support!

Here's some pictures to show what has been keeping us so busy around the house lately!

Guest Room Progress

One of my favorite aspects of the new guest room is this drop ceiling!  Thanks Chase for helping with the install!

She's not even born yet, and her closet is already full!

Most of her dresser drawers are already stocked!  Thanks to my friends Shawna and Leslie for passing along baby clothes.  Avery has a full wardrobe up to 9 months of age already!

Here are pictures to document how I'm growing over the weeks:
